FAQs

• WHO can enter the art show?

  • Any enrolled tribal citizen of the Native Peoples of North America including Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians and First Nations of Canada. Include Proof of Enrollment (photocopy of Tribal ID, letter from tribe, etc.) with entry form.

  • Must be 18 years or older by the first day of the Art Show.

  • All works must be original and must have been produced by a living artist within the past two years.

  • All artwork must be for sale.

• HOW do I enter the art show?

  Fill out an entry form and hand in with your artwork. The artwork needs to be at The Center or postmarked by the deadline, May 12, 2023.

• Is there an ENTRY FEE? How much do it cost?

  No. The only finically responsibility the Artist/Maker/Creative is responsible for is the shipping to The Center and return shipping if the piece/s do not sell.

• Do I physically have to mail/deliver my work to Pine Ridge, SD?
  Yes. We are open to the public. Your artwork will be also be photographed for the Judging process, resized to various dimensions and resolutions, as well as linked to the handfuls of spreadsheets the curator uses to make this magical Art Show happen with a limited turnaround time. We will also be handling the packaging and shipping of purchased artwork.

• I live in the area, When can I drop off my entries?
  The Gift Shop hours are Monday- Friday 10a- 5p. If you can not make those hours, please call/email ahead to schedule a meet time.

• What shipping service do you accept?
  USPS, UPS and Fedex all deliver to: 100 Mission Drive, Pine Ridge, SD 57770.

• Will there be an opening reception?
  Yes! The Opening Reception will be on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Noon. We have a small receptions and foods, before opening the gallery to everyone.
